Soft Skills Development Program 2010-11

The Department of English of Prof. Ramkrishna More Arts, Commerce and Science College, Akurdi organized a 10-day Soft Skills Development Programme from 23^rd of August 2011 to 6^th September 2011 in co-ordination with the University of Pune.

      The Programme was inaugurated by Principal Dr. Nitin Ghorpade. He set forth his views on ‘Communication Skills’. A series of lectures were conducted during the Ms Deepali Prashant enlighted the students on “Body Language’ on 23^rdAugust 2010.  Prof.Shailaja Sangle, former Principal Dr. D. Y. Patil College, Nigdi directed the students on ‘Work Culture’ on 25^th August 2010 and session II was conducted by Prof.Rupal on ‘Voice Culture and Body Language’. On 27^th August 2010, Dr.Shridhar Gokhale, Former Head, Department of English, University of Pune guided the students on ‘How To Develop Communication skills’. The session II was conducted by Prof. Alhat Namrata on ‘Group Discussion’. On 28^th August 2010 Mr. Saiprakash Belsare spoke to the students on ‘Situational Leadership and Teamwork’ and session II was conducted by Prof. Rupal Waghmare on ‘Effective CV writing’. On 30^th August 2010 Prof. Pratima Datar guided the students on ‘Think Creatively’ and session II was taken by Prof. S. P. Ganpule on ‘Creativity Development’. 31^st August 2010 session was guided by the Dr. Tushar Shitole, Head, Departmet of Geography, Prof. Ramkrishna More Arts, Commerce and Science College, addressed the students on ‘Creative thinking’ And session II was conducted by Prof.R. G. Sarode on ‘Mock Interviews’ .

 01^st September 2010 was taken by Prof. S. P. Ganpule on ‘Effective Public Speaking’ and session II was conducted by  Prof. R. G. Sarode on  ‘Mock Interviews’.

      On 2^nd September 2010 Prof. Vandana Pimple spoke on ‘Confidence Building’. On 3^rd September 2010 Mr. Vijay Gadgil spoke on ‘Positive Thinking’ and session II was conducted by Prof. S. P. Ganpule on ‘Importance of Soft-Skills’.

On 4^th September 2010 Mr. Rajan Wadke ‘Role of Media and Communication’ and session II was the Valedictory Function. Principal Dr. Nitin Ghorpade was the Chairperson for the Valedictory function.
