The department of English organized a one day trip to Mahabaleshwar. Mahabaleshwar is a renowned hill station of Maharashtra. It is 120 kilometers away from the college. The excursion was organized on Saturday 28th January, 2012 by the department of English. 38 students from the undergraduate and post graduate classes and three lecturers Dr. Shilpagauri Ganpule, Ms. Namrata Alhat, Ms. Rupal Waghmare participated in the excursion. 6 students from the department of Hindi also participated in the trip.
The students assembled in the college premises early in morning at 5.45 a.m. and reached back to college in the evening at 8.30 p.m. The places visited include the old Mahabaleshwar temple, various points, market place, Venna lake, the garden at Venna lake, Mapro Garden etc. Snacks and supper were provided to the students. The trip was indeed an enriching experience for the students.
